The Knights got off the mark with their first win of the One-Day Cup series. The high-riding Warriors suffered a setback as they were reduced to 98-8 halfway through their 50 overs.
Marco Marais’ 42 off 36 balls (with four sixes) helped to lift the home side to 121 all out off 26.3 overs.
Marchant de Lange (3-18) and Ottniel Baartman (3-32) did the bulk of the damage with the ball for the Knights.
The Knights’ run chase got off to a disastrous start as they were reduced to 13-3, but Rudi Second struck a match-winning 71 off 70 balls with 10 fours as the visitors powered to victory in under 30 overs.
Sisanda Magala (2-26) and Andrew Birch (2-28) returned the best figures for the Warriors, who will hope to bounce back quickly to consolidate their place near the top of the table.
